In Wisconsin, there are restrictions on the types of cannabis products that can be legally sold. The state does not allow cannabis products to be sold in a smokeable form. This includes any form of cannabis flower, as well as any products that contain THC or are derived from cannabis, including waxes, oils, and edibles. In addition, Wisconsin law does not permit the sale of any products intended for use by minors or that contain CBD from hemp. In order for a cannabis product to be legally sold in Wisconsin, it must be derived from hemp and contain no more than 0.3 percent of THC. Furthermore, all cannabis products must contain labeling that states the amount of THC in the product and any other ingredients that may be present. Although Wisconsin does not currently have any legal dispensaries, the state does allow the sale of hemp-derived CBD products at retail stores. However, it is important to note that any product containing CBD from hemp must be labeled as a “dietary supplement” and not sold as a medication or drug.
