What must I prove to be approved at a Social Security Disability hearing?
In order to be approved for Social Security Disability in California, you must prove that you are unable to engage in substantial gainful activity (SGA). This means that you must prove that due to your disability, you cannot perform any type of job that a person usually does in the competitive labor market. You must also provide medical evidence of your disability and how it affects your ability to work.
