What is the scope of the commerce clause of the US Constitution?
The commerce clause of the US Constitution is found in Article I, Section 8, Clause 3 and gives Congress the power “to regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes.” The clause gives Congress the power to regulate commerce among states and the power to prevent states from imposing unfair trade practices or restrictions.
