What types of health care services are available to veterans?

Veterans in Washington have access to a wide variety of health care services from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). These services are provided through VA medical centers and community-based outpatient clinics. Veterans may receive health care for any medical condition, provided it is related to their military service. VA health care services include preventive care, primary care, specialty care, mental health care, and long-term care.
