How do I register to vote?
In Arkansas, registering to vote is an easy process. First, you must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years of age, and a resident of Arkansas for at least 30 days before the election in which you want to vote. You can register to vote online, by mail, or in person. To register online, you can go to the Arkansas Secretary of State website and click on the "Voter Registration" link. You will then be prompted to fill out personal information, such as your name, address, date of birth, and Social Security number. Once you have completed the form, you will need to print, sign, and mail it before the voter registration deadline. If you choose to register by mail, you can download and print the voter registration form from the Arkansas Secretary of State website. The form must be filled out and mailed to your local county clerk’s office. You can also register in person at a local county clerk’s office or at a satellite voting location. When registering in person, you will need to provide proof of identity, such as a driver’s license or other government-issued ID. Once you have registered, you will be able to cast your ballot on election day. If you have any questions, you can contact the Arkansas Secretary of State office or your local county clerk’s office for more information.
