What is the International Convention against Apartheid in Sports (ICAS)?
The International Convention against Apartheid in Sports (ICAS) is an international legal agreement that seeks to prohibit the practice of race discrimination in the context of sporting activities. ICAS was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on June 12, 2020 and the aim of the convention is to end the implementation of the racial policy of South African apartheid in international sports.
