The International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (CERD) is an international treaty that was adopted by the United Nations in 1965. In Oregon, the State Board of Education has declared that no student should face discrimination in its schools based on their race, colour, descent, or national or ethnic origin.
