What is the International Convention on the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID)?

The International Convention on the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) is an international agreement created to facilitate the resolution of conflicts that arise between foreign investors and the governments of the countries in which they have invested.
